This stall is the most imposing one among with a huge skeletal artsy thingy hanging, making it impossible to miss.
First we were going to Din Tai Fung, then I saw the Fisherman’s Basket special, I couldn’t resist!
At $20, I found it of reasonable value. Each element was cooked to a high standard, yes some places still manage to overcook fish and chips. All of it was fresh, batter on each of them crispy, not rock hard and the crispness was just right for me. Prawns and calamari had been just cooked enough the texture was tender and fresh. Even just having the fish on its own would be a good meal. Chips were nice not the best but still good.
This is probably the best fisherman’s basket that I have eaten in Sydney. The quality of the ingredients and execution do justify the price tag in my opinion.
