MEAL DEAL 4 (Any Pizza , Any Pizza , Garlic Bread , Italian Salad and 1.25lt Drink)
Their great value deal: 2 pizzas of any choice including their Gourmet selection. Italian salad was fresh and enjoyable, garlic bread was average might have got soggy during transit.
Pizzas in general had a thin crust, not the very cheesy kind but still enjoyable. Meat Lovers has become a classic flavour combination and it did deliver on taste. The Mexicana was one of Gourmet style pizzas on offer, very nice composition of flavours and specially enjoyable if you’re a fan of the heat of jalapeños and chillies, although the cheese and sour cream are there to balance out the spicyness for your next slice.
PISELLI PASTA King prawns, onions, garlic, cream sauce and touch of napolitana
Prawns were cooked well but sauce was a little bland. Pasta was not cooked al dente so if you’re a fan of softer pasta, you might enjoy it more than me.
Menulog has done a good job to provide a web ordering interface to this local restaurant and giving them exposure to a wider audience of Pizza lovers. The ordering interface is well designed, all the menu items are clearly listed including the specials. Once the special/combos are added to the card, the individual items still listed as well.
The best thing is that it’s much more efficient that ordering over the phone where you’ll might previously had have to face with limited English level speakers (Asian restaurants) leading to erroneous orders or busy dial tones. Orders can also be placed at any time including when the restaurant is closed and scheduled for delivery or pick-up at a specific time.
Menulog also has a build-in reviewing and rating system to keep participating restaurants in check. Additional loyalty deals are available after a pre-defined number of sales which Menulog keeps a record of under your account. If you’re less adventurous menu-wise, you can also reorder previous one at a click of a button.
